Third Assignment--Car-Icature WIP

Here are the versions of my finished Car-Icature. The first is the original "satisfied version", the second is after a lot of burning, dodging and channel mixing, and the third is channel mixed and filtered, and I added a border with the line tool to make a comic-book like version with Bumblebee to help fill negative space.

Magazines to remember for next time:

Third Assignment--Car-Icature WIP

Workin on it. It's taking a while. Not sure how I feel about it, but I sure am having fun. I should probably warp the car parts less so they look more like...you know....car parts.

Second Assignment--Wish You Were Here

Actually, I'm pretty happy on my own chillin' with my wizard friend.

First Assignment--Crime Scene Cleanup

Crime Scene Cleanup, first assignment in class and my first real attempt at Photoshop. In the first one I closed the walrus' eyes since it was supposed to look like they were asleep. Fun fun!

Testing

Testing fonts and stuff. Check out my much more interesting at this moment artblog HERE.

I also remember stumbling upon a fellow classmates blog, talking about how this class is going to attempt to out geek each other. I hope I win in the comic book nerdery dept. Tattoos:

Autobots symbol I got the day I turned 18. AND

BPRD (Hellboy ref for those who don't know) logo I got a few months ago. Next tatt is debatable, I'm wondering between a Balsac from Gwar logo orrrr possibly Rorschach from Watchmen or something Gambit or Nightcrawler related. I wish I had photos of my room, with the Mighty Muggs Avengers figurines, Batman and Captain America posters and plush Hellboys. I totally win at life. And I'd like to clarify in the war between Iron Man and Captain America supporters, I am for Iron Man.

As an added bonus, here are the loves of my life currently, Harvey Dent and Hank Williams:
